We welcome you to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd (or as we often call ourselves-LCGS)! We are an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregation located in Bel Air, Maryland.
LCGS has recently been designated as a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregation, click RIC to learn more about our RIC journey. 

At LCGS, we embrace the uniqueness of every individual and respect their dignity and worth, for all are created in the image of God. We strive to welcome everyone in the fullness of who they are, where they are. We embrace and live out God’s vision of love for people through worship with song, scripture, and Holy Communion, we socialize through meet and greets with various forms of refreshments, we share our faith through assorted forms of Youth & Adult Education,  Faith Groups, and so much more.
