DISCIPLESHIP
At the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, we take our mission seriously. We believe God has gifted us with faith and calls us to respond to his unconditional love for us by growing in our relationship with Him and striving to be more like Jesus Christ. It's difficult to pursue all the faith practices (prayer, study, worship, service, giving, invitation, and encouragement) alone! Many of the ministries and programs at LCGS are meant to help us grow as disciples and use our God given gifts to help others. We have a strong sense of community and we love to have fun together! Fellowship groups, outings, and other special events give us opportunities to enjoy being together. We also are continually striving to reach out and share the love of God in our local and global communities. If you are looking for opportunities to grow and learn, serve (both inside and outside of LCGS, in our local community and the global community), and fellowship; you will certainly find them here! Explore these pages for information or contact the church office. We encourage you to not just come to church but to be the church....everyday and everywhere! LCGS Disciples are led in Ministry by our Church Council. If you are looking for a way to get involved and use your gifts, please reach out to any of these leaders to get connected!
