| WELCOME! |
Friend,
there is a welcome here for you. What God is doing here is for both His Glory
and your peace and joy. Hear His Word, praise his Holy Name, give thanks, and
then go on your way to serve the Lord. Know that you go with God's blessing.
Check out our website and see what we are up to. You do not have to be a
member to participate in the life of our church family. Come stop for some coffee
between services and chat awhile, send your children to Sunday School, sing with
the choir, or attend a ministry team meeting you are interested in learning about.
If
you are looking for a church home in this community, we invite you to consider
The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
RALLY
DAY IS COMING - SEPTEMBER 12! Join
us as we begin a new year together in Christ! Our worship schedule will change
back to 8 and 11 a.m. Sunday school will begin a new year at 9:30 a.m., and our
FED Hour (Fellowship and Education) will offer coffee socials between services
in the education wing, and new learning and discussion opportunities for adults
at 9:30 a.m.
Pep Rally! - All Sunday school students ages two (parent
and child class) through high school, along with their families, will meet in
the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. During this time, we will participate in prayer, song
and cheers as we get the "game" plan for the year. There will be activities in
the Celebration Hall for the children as they begin with their teachers.
Families
are encouraged to spend time at the Ministry Fair in the Celebration Hall
to learn more about life at "LCGS." We have a lot of things happening, so don't
miss out! There is no pre-registration required for Sunday school. For more information
about Sunday school, please contact Sandy Richter at sundayschool@lcgselca.org.
