Our Vision
- is for our youth to grow in their relationships with God and one another … to
become active and faithful Christian citizens with guidance from nurturing and
supportive adult mentors.
Our Mission - is to invite all youth to be involved in a welcoming environment
where there exist a balance of spiritual, service and social opportunities for
youth, both in and outside the Christian church community. Youth

AT GOOD SHEPHERD Scouting
helps children develop the character, self-confidence, and values to help them
make good decisions throughout their lives.
Cub Scout Pack 807 – our Good Shepherd chartered Cub Scout pack invites
boys in grades 1-5 and their families to join the pack for learning and fun experiences

YOUTH IN GRADES 6-12
Youth Summit 2010, for youth entering grades 6-12, parents and adult leaders,
is coming Saturday, Aug. 14. Details will follow soon. Rob Richter is coordinating
this event for youth and adults.
'LCGS' Night at the Ironbirds Plans
are under way for an Ironbirds baseball game outing for youth and families Aug.
14 at Ripken Stadium. Good Shepherd has committed to 50 tickets so far, but more
may be available, at a cost of $10 to $12. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Price includes
admission and a free Ironbirds hat. Tickets are expected to go fast, so please
buy yours early! Sign-up will be between services in the narthex area outside
the sanctuary, or you may contact Gordon Brown. CUB
