First Holy Communion classes take place during
Vacation Bible School week in late June and at other
times during the year. Children who have completed grade
five are eligible to participate in this class with
our Pastors. IF your student is unable to attend these
classes make up classes are schedule peridocially throughout
the year.
MAKE-UP CLASSES START FEBURAY 7
There will be a make-up First Holy Communion Class led
by Nancy Bauer for kids in grade six or older who were
unable to participate in the summer class during Vacation
Bible School. There will be five sessions beginning
Sunday, Feb. 7 at 9:30 a.m. Classes will be Feb. 7,
14 and 28, and March 7 and 14. Please note: There will
be no class on Feb. 21.

Christian School leases our facilities for its Upper
School Campus.

Sunday
Church School begins on Rally Day the first Sunday after Labor Day in September
and continues through the second Sunday in June for children ages 2 through adult.
(For the adult offerings please go to the adult page under Education.)
The Sunday School Hour begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday school for ages 2 through Grade 8 meets in individual
classrooms.
The high school Sunday school class meets in the parsonage
building.
Monthly Sunday school theme celebrations are open to everyone
on October 11, November 8 and December 4 in the Celebration
Hall. The Sunday school Christmas program will be Sunday,
December 20. Come join us!
Please note: there will be no Sunday school on December
27.

Our Sunday school needs empty paper towel rolls for
the children’s projects. If you can provide any, please
bring them to church on Sunday. Thanks!

INKUBATORS ("FINK") 2009-2010
ATTENTION
families with youth entering the seventh or eighth grades! It's time to register
for LCGS small group-based confirmation program - FINK. Both new and returning
students need to register. Confirmation Learning Events are held on Wednesday
nights (usually twice a month) during the school year, with a break during Lent.
For new students, pre-registration is essential to the planning of the program,
as we need to know how many small group leaders will be necessary. Please note:
FINK is open to all students who have not been confirmed and are entering at least
the seventh grade.
"FINK Again" is a new part of FINK. It is
the opportunity for parents to be a part of their own
FINK small group, participating in Learning Events and
learning the same material as students. This is different
from being a small group Guide; parents who are "FINKing
Again" are learners, not group leaders. Questions?
